Community Outreach Program

At Community Outreach Program, we have served motivated at-risk children since 1989. Our programs are designed to provide with children positive experiences that help shape positive futures.

Literacy Initiative

Our literacy curriculum is built to help at-risk children in 1st-3rd grade read at grade level by the time they enter 4th grade. It increases children's motivation to read and builds their literacy skills while developing core values using a five-part process: discussion, drama, art, movement, and writing.

Summer & Winter Camps

Through yearly giving campaigns , each child is eligible for a full scholarship to attend summer camp at Camp Alta Mons Camp and Retreat Center, with opportunities to attend their winter camp as available.

Dressed for Success Clothing Exchange

Children who choose to participate in our clothing closet have access to donations of dress code appropriate, clean clothing, that is in good condition.

Christmas Angels

This community-based program gives all children an opportunity to experience the season of giving. Volunteers take a Christmas Angel and fulfill clothing and toy Christmas wishes for that child.
